According to an Italian law, five parts per thousand of income tax can be donated to Non-Profit Organisations, following each taxpayer choice. The taxpayer may express his preference in the yearly income tax declaration with no additional expense or charge. Only NPOs which are entitled by the Italian Finance Ministry may have access to this funds and ours does.
